Work was a bitch from Monday morning onward but when I walked into the office on Friday and the shit hit the fan, I just laughed. I didn’t take it personally, I didn’t get upset, I just laughed and moved forward.

I feel a little older, a little closer to myself and a little more in control than I have in a while.
-I signed up with a gym upstate and started going every day.
-I started seeing a new therapist who has done extensive work with people who have been sexually assaulted.
-I lined up my grad school application information and made a plan to acquire recommendations and the necessary material in time.
-I made an appointment to see a neurologist about this sciatica.
-I started reading again after a few month hiatus.
-Through reading and other things I was reunited with my purpose in life and, in turn, feel new energy about going to Antarctica and volunteering in
-The most pressing matter on my mind at the moment is that I miss serving, helping, volunteering, whatever you want to call it. I’m going to get on that.
I am so happy right now for and with the people around me. Nate just finished her first year of college. Liz and John got engaged. Greg is graduating. Dad is losing weight. My co-worker’s fiancĂ© just bought “the dress”. Joey’s taking much needed time off. It is summer…I am happy.
