Maintain Sally.

We were everywhere.
We swam and we drummed and we drank wine.
We played soccer and volleyball
And I shut my eyes when they were supposed to be open.

We did yoga, naked in the grass.
We drove over bridges and ducked under branches.
We watched the fireflies sparkle in the evening
And we all went to bed around the same time.

To Beacon, to Hyde Park, to Woodstock and on.
Turn left and stay straight and yep you’re okay.
I can’t find the rhythm, I don’t know where she went.
Right two times or we’ll all wait by the car.

Nap weed and pink nips.
Alcohol and foreign language.
Spiders and wagers to be made.

There are lines in my intimacy.
There are fears to overcome.

You smile with your eyes
And you laugh with me lots.
You.

(This weekend I picked up Laris and we drove upstate where we picked up Chad and headed to Woodstock where we met up with Christine. The drive up was fun. Laris laughs with me lots. At Christine’s house we drank wine and had a fun night. Then we drove around then we played with a soccer ball then we swam in a stream then we drummed up a storm then we ate some vegan food and all headed south. I hope Laris comes upstate more often.)
